Benha University Hosts International Summer School for Huazhong Agricultural University Students

Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University, and Prof. Dr. Gehan Abdel-Hadi, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research, Benha University has officially launched the International Summer School for students from Huazhong Agricultural University (HZAU), China, taking place from July 21 to 31, 2025.
The opening day began with an introductory tour of the university, where the visiting Chinese students explored key academic and research facilities, including the Central Library and the Medical Simulation Center at the Faculty of Medicine. The tour showcased Benha University’s advanced infrastructure and its commitment to educational and research excellence.
Following the tour, Prof. Dr. Abdelfattah Monjed Selim, Executive Director of the International Relations Office, delivered a comprehensive presentation featuring an introductory video about the university. He also gave an orientation lecture covering the history of Benha University, its faculties, academic programs, and achievements in scientific research and international collaboration.
The first day concluded with interactive cultural activities, bringing together students from HZAU and the Chinese Language Department at Benha University. The activities featured artistic and musical performances, drawing workshops, Arabic and Chinese name calligraphy, and a henna painting experience—all within a vibrant atmosphere of cross-cultural dialogue and mutual exchange.
This international summer program reflects Benha University’s ongoing efforts to foster global partnerships and promote intercultural understanding as part of its strategic vision for internationalization and academic diplomacy.
