Banha University is ranked the FIRST among the Egyptian Universities according to "Times Higher Education" (THE)

Prof. Hussein El-Maghraby, President in charge of Banha University(BU), congratulated the whole family of the University on winning the first place at the level of Egyptian universities, according to the new version of the British Times classification for the best universities in the world for 2019. The University of Benha ranked 601 - 800 globally, with 5 other Egyptian universities in this rank. In this classification for 2019. Prof. El-Maghraby said "This is the first time; the university get the first place on the Egyptian universities, and among the top 1000 universities in the world" The British Times classification is based on 5 criteria that include 13 indicators: scientific citations, university research influence, number and reputation of research and income, education environment, and Thomson Reuters survey results for the research and education reputation of universities with the participation of 20,000 researchers and scientists. The president added BU has got the following ranking: - Ranked the FIRST among the Egyptian Universities. - Ranked 601-800 among the world Universities. Time Higher Education (THE) - Ranked No (6) among the Egyptian Universities - Ranked No (18) among the Arab Universities. - Ranked No (25) among the Egyptian Universities. Webometrics - Ranked No (11) among the Egyptian Universities - Ranked No (81) among the Arab Universities. QS - Ranked No (625) among the world Universities. Scimago
